Sacrifice

When did it become socially appropriate to sacrifice children? Again.

I know child sacrifice has been an on again, off again bargain with the gods throughout the millennium. We the people of such-and-so will sacrifice one child of our choosing and you, god of whatever, will be obligated to fulfill our request. Perhaps we’ll add a kid or three if it is a very large request. There did seem to be a bit of wiggle room there.

Back to my question: When did it become socially acceptable to sacrifice children. Which god are we bargaining with? What is so important we are throwing every child under the age of twelve into the volcano?

” Dear god-of-the-right, Please make sure all those uppity women and people who don’t look like me are put into the hellfire of servitude ( to me) forever. I offer you our children under twelve. It is your will who will be taken (to the ICU).If my little Caleb dies alone in an ICU so be it. All I ask in return is that the fascist overlords whom I (actually-think -will -give me-power-to destroy -others-and-not-simply-sacrifice-me-in -my-turn ) have sold my soul to prevent the socialist takeover of our great nation. Please let the atrocities committed in your name be continued. Amen”

Do you have another way to explain this current school year? My local county prosecutor made an announcement a week or so back stating teachers who try and enforce masks in their classroom will be prosecuted. Think about that for a minute. Teachers will be prosecuted for trying to keep their students, themselves and by extension entire families safe will be prosecuted. How is this not child endangerment on a national scale?

This is not what Jesus meant when he said ” Suffer the little children to come unto me.” He did not mean for them to suffer and die in an ICU alone and bereft so their parents can make a point.
